Nationals Finally Address The Bullpen And Make A Trade
The Washington Nationals were in desperate need of some help in the bullpen. Especially after last nights game. The Nat’s were up 10-0 into the 7th and they gave up 8 runs in the last 3 innings. That’s right, a 10-0 game and the pen came that close to blowing it. In 2017 alone, the team has already blown 18 saves and that shit is not acceptable with a team of this caliber.

The Nat’s get 2 solid relievers and they only gave up Blake Treinen and a couple of mid range prospects. They may have something special in Treinen who sports a 98 MPH sinker. But he struggles with control and can’t be trusted in the 9th inning as we have already seen this year. Doolittle and Madson have both been solid this year and will quench a thirsty ass bullpen in Washington.
The A’s pulled the classic move of trading anyone with value to the team and are looking to rebuild once again. The only remaining players on the A’s from 2014 are Sonny Gray and Jed Lowrie. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Lowrie was traded back for recently and was already off the roster post-2014. Must be fucking tough owning a jersey in Oakland.
