Pssst it’s okay to ask for help, you’re not alone!
I just found out that as much as 80% of Canadians suffer from seasonal affective (SAD) disorder while recording E.43 of DROPPING IN, a series about the shoulder season blues!
Well it looks like I wasn’t wrong in opening up the conversation about SAD.
A couple of weeks ago I posted an Instagram post that started to open up the conversation about SAD. I was having a hard time with this fall; darker nights and the changing of seasons. With that one raw Instagram post came a plethora of friends and strangers saying they were feeling the same.
I realize we are still in a Global Pandemic and everyone is over it, but I wanted to find some tools to help me get over this depression. It was time to reach out and ask for help!
I reached out to experts; Doctors, psychologists and retreat leaders to give you and me the tools to help with SAD. I also reached out to trainers and athletes to see if they get the seasonal blues, what they feel like to them and how they are able to push on. Athletes are in that 80% struggling, just like you and are also looking for answers and help.
