“Losing Tre White on the Buffalo Bills defense would be like losing Josh Allen on the offense.” – Mario Nata, Hashtag Sports
The Buffalo Bills beat the hapless New Orleans Saints Thursday night, propelling them back to the top of the AFC East for at least three days.
However, it came at a big cost. The Bills lost their All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White for the rest of the season, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

This is obviously devastating fucking news if you’re a Bills fan. I got in touch with Mario Nata from Hashtag Sports, who told me “Losing Tre White on the Buffalo Bills defense would be like losing Josh Allen on the offense. Only, this is a bigger loss”.

Clearly, this loss is going to be tough to cope with for the Bills. However, Buffalo has shown some confidence in their seventh-round draft pick Dane Jackson.
Losing all Pro Corner Tre White to an ACL injury is definitely deflating to this defense! It's not a player you can easily replace.
Can I interest you in a silver lining?

“Losing Tre white essentially opens up the whole field to opposing QBs”, said Belony. “Tre could lock up your #1 WR and essentially shut down half the field. Luckily, we have the best safety tandem in the league in Hyde and Poyer. Former 7th Round pick Dane Jackson will have to step up and do his 1/11th and we’ll be fine!”
“Although there’s a lot of trust in young Dane Jackson, this could limit how aggressive we’d like to be in our coverage and blitz packages”, Belony continued. “The corner position was something Bills fans surely thought GM Brandon Beane was going to. Draft early, but didn’t. Some will wonder if passing up on corners in the early rounds will bite us in the butt. Time will tell!!”
On tonight’s episode of Talkin’ Football With Ray, I gave more insights from Belony and Nata.
