Dan Patrick is the current Lieutenant Governor of Texas, and he thinks that everyone, including the elderly, should be getting back to work as fast as possible.
Here is the breakdown of what he said:
Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick:
“What I'm living in fear of is what's happening to this country…‘Are you willing to take a chance on your survival in exchange for keeping the America that all America loves for your children and grandchildren?' And if that's the exchange I'm all in" pic.twitter.com/2vIleMB1jP

He is basically saying he’s willing to give it a few more days practicing social distancing, but that the economy couldn’t survive several months of lockdown. HE also said grandparents like him don’t want to sacrifice the country’s economy during the coronavirus crisis and are willing to die for the younger generation?
I don’t think 69 year old Dan Patrick should be talking on behalf of all grandparents. I’m pretty sure mine who go to the YMCA to work out then coffee with their friends 4 times a week don’t want to die for me. They just want me to get them the right bottle of white wine for Christmas.
People have lost their damn minds. The true colours are coming out.
Save the old people!!!
