Remember a couple of weeks ago when Elon Musk and Grimes welcomed baby X AE A-12 into the world?

Grimes’s explanation of the name was simple.
•X, the unknown variable ⚔️
•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)
•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent 🤍
(A=Archangel, my favorite song)

Yeah, so there you go. No weapons, SR-71 from Clint Eastwood’s ‘Fire Fox’, Archangels and shit.
After some speculation, Musk and Grimes finally changed X AE A-12 to X AE A-Xii.
Did you get that?
According to Musk, it’s pronounced EX-ash-Twelve
Source: Per Grimes, the name—previously widely reported as X Æ A-12—is now X Æ A-Xii. “Roman numerals,” she said of the slight update. “Looks better tbh.”
Both Grimes and Musk have spoken publicly about the multifaceted inspiration behind the name, with Musk recently explaining to Joe Rogan that Grimes “actually mostly came up with” it.
“It’s just X, the letter X, and then the Æ is pronounced ‘Ash’ and then A-12 is my contribution,” he said when asked about the pronunciation. “Archangel 12, the precursor to the SR-71. Coolest plane ever. It’s true.”
Thank God she swapped out the numbers for Roman numerals.
Well, good for the people. They get to get to keep mocking the kid’s parents for being edgelords, too.
