This is pretty cool. Imagine being there! Slipknot recorded a concert at the BBC’s legendary Maida Vale Studios in London, England on January 26 ’20. There were only 120 fans in attendance! They played “Unsainted”, “Psychosocial”, “The Devil In I”, “Duality”, “Disasterpiece” and “Wait And Bleed”. Watch a couple videos uploaded to the BBC Radio 1 YouTubechannel below!!
BBC’s Radio 1’s “Rock Show” aired the concert in its entirety this past Sunday (Feb.9) and you can hear the show here (at the one-hour, 16-minute mark).
In case you missed it, earlier this month, Slipknot announced the 2020 edition of the “Knotfest Roadshow” Tour with special guests A Day To Remember, Underoath & Code Orange. Big tour!
Last year’s “Knotfest Roadshow” was a 30 city tour – this year’s tour starts in Syracuse, New York on May 30 and hits 15 more cities before wrapping up at The Woodlands, Texas on June 25.
This BBC show would have been amazing to be at? What’s the biggest band you’ve seen in the smallest room? Personally, saw Soundgarden at The Town Pump mid 90s (room holds maybe 200/300 people). Amazing!
