I don’t listen to or watch Joe Rogan unless it’s an out-of-context clip or something newsworthy but as a broadcaster, I know exactly what he’s doing here.
(Pardon the Clay Travis tweet but stay with me)
Joe Rogan asks Sanjay Gupta if it bothers him that CNN outright lied about Rogan taking horse dewormer to recover from covid. This is fantastic: pic.twitter.com/PEgJqIXhSD

CNN didn’t lie. They repeated Joe Rogan and took extreme liberty with it to embarrass him.
I liked it and it’s standard fair in media. Joe should know that.
There were millions of tweets claiming Joe punked Sanjay Gupta and ‘destroyed CNN’ and to a Rogan fan, that might be the case.
If Rogan didn’t take horse dewormer, he should have fucking said that by getting the name of the drug right.
If Joe’s prescription was for Ivermectin, he was prescribed a horse dewormer because that’s what he said. If he took human versions of it, he should have said that.
Joe Rogan got Covid and decided to take Ivermectin Jfc Stop taking horse dewormer and get vaccinated pic.twitter.com/S4fkgnNf3R

If he was prescribed a human anti-parasitic for a respiratory virus (the doctor is an idiot) Stromectol, Soolantra, or Sklice would have been the actual prescription. It’s not Ivermectin, so this is all his doing. As far as the world is concerned, he’s just splitting hairs hoping to repair the damage he did to his reputation among his hardcore fans and the other 98% who think he’s a fucking quack.
CNN definitely took liberty with Rogan’s video to prove a point, but Joe Rogan literally said he took a horse dewormer so it’s all fair when it comes to giving it to Rogan who misrepresents science for a fucking living.
