It’s fun to dunk on Jordan’s insane behavior, benzo comas, and ridiculous claims of being on a mission from God to radicalize dumb men. Still, he’s in SERIOUS jeopardy of losing his license to call himself a psychologist.
I talked with a psychiatrist friend yesterday, and he pointed to the following CPO clauses likely problematic for Jordan in light of his statements/tweets about overweight women, Elliot Page’s “criminal” sex change surgery, calling Gerry Butts a “Prik,” etc., etc.
6.6 Provision of Information to the Public Members who provides information, advice or comment to the public via any medium must take precautions to ensure that: a) the statements are accurate and supportable based on current professional literature or research; b) the statements are consistent with the professional standards, policies and ethics currently adopted by the College; and c) it would reasonably be expected that an individual member of the public receiving the information would understand that these statements are for information only, that a professional relationship has not been established, and that there is no intent to provide professional services to the individual.
13.1 Compromised Objectivity, Competence or Effectiveness Due to Relational Factors Members must not undertake or continue to provide psychological services with an individual client when their objectivity, competence or effectiveness is, or could reasonably be expected to be, impaired. This could be due to the members present or previous familial, social, sexual, emotional, financial, supervisory, political, administrative, or legal relationship with the client or a relevant person associated with the client. This prohibition does not apply if the services are delivered to an organizational client and the nature of the professional relationship is neither therapeutic nor vulnerable to exploitation.
14.2 Other Forms of Abuse and Harassment Members must not engage in any verbal or physical behaviour of a demeaning, harassing or abusive nature in any professional context.
The problem for the College of Psychologists of Ontario? Jordan’s hurtful behavior. Healthcare professionals sign a contract with their regulatory bodies to “no harm,” Jordan is in clear violation, which makes the College look bad.
They don’t like that.
What’s more? Jordan’s mockery of the process has led to a DELUGE of new complaints of unprofessional conduct. He also accidentally doxxed the complainants, a MASSIVE breach of privacy and professional ethics, when he posted them on Twitter on Thursday night.
Here are the complaints. They cover everything from telling Elliot page the person who “cut off her breasts” is a “criminal surgeon,” how much he hates overweight women, mocking people with “gender dysphoria,” and how only losers wear masks during a pandemic. You know, hurtful shit psychologists in a regulated profession aren’t supposed to say/do.
Jordan was kind enough to include the offending tweets in his response to the College, which is void of personal or professional responsibility.
The rub? Jordan’s public response is an engineered effort to drum up ticket sales for his “shows” starting in Ottawa on January 30.
Jordan doesn’t give a single fuck about losing his “Clinical Psychologist” title because he hasn’t seen a client in a “clinical setting in 5 years.”
No, I’m not kidding. He might care about the cachet of the title. Still, he stopped being a clinical psychologist in an everyday setting after spending three months in Russia in a benzo addiction coma.
Jordan is publicly mocking this process because he’s using the MAGA/Toxic White Male Privilege playbook as a springboard to line his pockets by presenting himself as the victim of the authoritarian government of Canada. Most of his dim-witted INCEL pledges don’t know the government of Canada has NOTHING to do twit the College of Psychologists of ONTARIO, but that doesn’t matter because this is just more gaslighting by a man who’s on nervous system TILT. Big time.

Jordan Peterson knows full well he’s going to lose his license to treat clients in a clinical setting and doesn’t give a fuck. The only thing he cares about is the perception of being a radicalization warrior creating an army of men with small dicks who give Jordan their money and attention. That’s all he’s wanted since he was a 14-year-old dork vying for the Alberta NDP leadership. Control. Notoriety, Attention. Influence.

He’s never published a peer-reviewed study and is widely mocked in his profession, so color me surprised that Jordan is helping organize a protest at the OCP offices in an attempt to threaten people who sit on the OCP board.
