In one of the worst trades of all time, the United States traded Brittney Griner and future considerations to Russia for the Merchant Of Death. Yes, you read that right, the United States traded a WNBA player who was incarcerated for a weed pen for a notorious arms dealer. The internet had a field day.

The prisoner swap was right out of a Hollywood movie too. Two private planes, an empty tarmac, dudes in suits and a yellow envelope. Seriously, did they mean for this to look like a Quintin Tarantino movie? It is literally everything I could have imagined. The United States seems to be split, most people are happy she is home and others are furious that they brought her home instead of a U.S Marine.
