Alex Joins us on The Dean Blundell Podcast LIVE tomorrow (March 11, 2022) @ 4:00PM Eastern Standard Time (-5 GMT)
While the terrorist invasion of Ukraine by Russia wages on, there are civilians surviving in makeshift bomb shelters. These are found in the underground subway infrastructure of Kyiv. Supporting these people is what Alex, and a group of absolute heroes does. They are his neighbours. His friends. To him, there is no other option but to help.

Alex is the newest member of the DeanBlundell.com family. He’s giving us reports from the front line, which is also the home of him and his family. While Russia continues their attempt at invading his homeland, Alex is busy ensuring those still in Kyiv are getting what they need. Sugar, tea, cookies, diapers, water, kettles, blankets, meals etc. You name it, they’re sourcing it. From time to time, we may put a call out for donations, but as Alex reports they have enough money right now to sustain the emergency supplies.
I coordinate delivering 400 lunches to our warriors fighting to defend Gostomel and Irpin. No photos/videos available (not to reveal our positions to the enemy). Budget – 0 (zero) since a trusted restaurant volunteered to make these free lunches! Our nation will never defeat!

In between status updates of his efforts, he gives us a look at life on the inside for those just trying to carry on. Alex and his wife are the proud parents of a brand new baby boy Артур (Arthur.) They found some time to make sure they celebrated the miracle milestone of their son.
My son turned 1 month yesterday. Last 2 weeks, or half of his life, he has lived in a war. We have no home, no belongings, but we have lives. Lots of people lost their lives and lost their close ones.
