Hello Malachi Flynn and smell ya later Fred Van Vleet.
Don't sleep on Malachi Flynn… the @Raptors certainly didn't.

(Looks like Malachi got some free wings from Wingstop on draft night)

I love Freddy but drafting Flynn was a big fat sign the Raptors might no be able to sign FVV or know they can’t or not.
Masai and GM Bobby Webster are tighter than a frogs asshole, but San Diego State’s Malachi Flynn is a legit NBA prospect who can shoot the lights out, play rabid defense, and he’s a terrific kid from a huge family.
Malachi Flynn could get a chance to learn from FVV personally 👀🤞 pic.twitter.com/hAydb8UoTu

Freddy told the world he’s looking to cash in and doesn’t really give a shit about where he gets paid. He’s earned that right. I love the kid and in no way do I want Freddy to split but drafting Flynn yesterday was a glimpse into the future of the Toronto Raptors line up from a position future need and if they need a backup PG, my money is on Freddy leaving.
Congrats to the Knicks on new starting PG Fred Van Vleet https://t.co/Ynr93Cfvmd

The Suns were front runners for Van Vleet’s services until they traded for Chris Paul and the Knicks covet Van Vleet and might throw the most money at him when free agency starts tomorrow. Steady Freddy does it all and the Raptors would sorrily miss his ability to make plays stretch the floor.
We’ll find out tomorrow, but if Freddy goes, I’d like to be the first to thank him for the broken teeth, black eyes, and a championship because unlike some of you I appreciate Freddy’s contribution to the city and this franchise.
Get that paper, Freddy.
From undrafted to $100 million dollars is a life well lived at 26.
