NY POST: Mike Tyson wasn’t just high off his celebrated return to the boxing ring at age 54.
The boxing icon said he smoked marijuana prior to his eight-round exhibition bout Saturday against Roy Jones Jr. at Staples Center.

“Absolutely yes… Listen, I can’t stop smoking,” the former heavyweight champion of the world told reporters after his first fight in 15 years. “I smoked during fights. I just have to smoke, I’m sorry. I’m a smoker. … I smoke everyday. I never stopped smoking.”
The Voluntary Anti-Doping Association tested Tyson and Jones Jr. for performance-enhancing drugs prior to the bout, which ended in an unofficial draw, but weed was not on the list of banned substances.
“It’s just who I am,’’ Tyson said. “It has no effect on me from a negative standpoint. It’s just what I do and how I am and how I’m going to die. There’s no explanation. There’s no beginning, there’s no end.”
Mike is an Omni present cannabis smoker and if smoking pot everyday leads to looking like that, I’m in.
I can’t imagine going out to fight after smoking a cone but tolerance is an incredible thing when you smoke as much as Mike smokes. The more pot you smoke the less effected you are by smoking and that applies to strains of cannabis too. Mixing up strains and taking a few days off are good ways to keep your buzz fresh btw.
No one likes to get tired of the same old high so mix in a few edibles from time to time if you don’t have to preform surgery the next day or have to fight Mike Tyson. Unless you’re Mike Tyson in which case Mike wouldn’t be fighting himself because that’s stupid. If you know anything about Tyson you know he won the heavyweight championship at 19 years of age with a raging case of gonorrhoea, so fighting high was no biggie.
