The problem? We still don’t have an accurate definition of what an assault rifle is, so ALL of the opposition to Bill 21, other than 1500 banned assault weapons (ARs, Handguns, Ruger, ETC), so responsible gun owners who hunt with hunting rifles are standing there with their dicks in their hands.
The other problem? Conservatives, the gun lobby, and a few dirty asshole sores that work for outlets like Rebel News are telling everyone Trudeau is coming for ALL their guns, and he needs to be stopped.

I wouldn’t say I like Guns, but I grew up out west and know some very good people who take firearm safety seriously and use their tools to feed their families. Some wonderful people take part in sport shooting and target practice too.
Does owning a gun make you a murderous asshole? No, but NO ONE needs a handgun, and no one needs a fucking AR-15 to shoot gophers or any animal. If you used to hunt with weapons of war, you wouldn’t be able to anymore. It’s as simple as that. If you own a handgun and are a responsible gun owner, you’ll get to keep it – if you want to buy one, tough titty.
Shit changes. Guns kill people. People with guns kill people, and almost all gun crimes are committed with STOLEN or ILLEGAL firearms.
Not to mention, owning a gun is privileged and can be revoked in CANADA. It’s been the case for 200 years and will be the case for another 200. We are not a “gun nation” with charter rights to own firearms. Ownership exists as a privilege.
I you ask a responsible gun owner on a ledge, what they’d like to see, it’s not being the brunt of the blame for firearm-related violence in Canada. In Canada, roughly 10% of all firearms-related incidents were from traceable (legal) guns. If Trudeau wants buy-in from LEGAL gun owners, he needs to step that shit up too.
To be accurate, Pierre Poilievere, Rebel News, and the gun lobby in Canada don’t split hairs to be fair to the people they target with lies and preemptive gun lobby circle jerks. They want to fearmonger and radicalize gun owners into fighting YOU – Canadians who don’t own or need guns, and that’s 80% of the country.
Someone told Carey that Trudeau was coming for his perfectly legal duck-hunting shotgun, or he’s just taking a proactive stance for legal/responsible firearm owners, which requires the ability to reason to deduce.
I support responsible gun owners, Carey Price, and his OPINION.
I don’t support anyone who thinks they have a RIGHT to own/use assault rifles or handguns and support the restriction of weapons of war.
I also would like to take Ezra Levant and Pierre Poilievere into a soundproof room for 5-10 minutes to see what happens. No guns. Just three guys greased up in a speedo in a soundproof room for a few minutes. Just to see what happens.
