Source – Alex Rodriguez is dealing with an ex from hell — a woman who’s hit him up for cash for years is now threatening to expose private messages if he doesn’t cough up as much as $600k … TMZ has learned.
We’re told A-Rod broke up with the woman back in 2014, and although it was never a serious relationship — more of a fling — she continued contacting him every now and then, asking for small amounts of money. We’re told he always turned her away empty-handed.
But things changed earlier this year when Alex got together with Jennifer Lopez. We’re told the ex suddenly started hitting up A-Rod for larger amounts of money. He did not give in, and finally within the last week … he told the woman he was in a happy, committed relationship with J Lo … and simply wanted to be left alone.
That final denial set her off, and she insisted she would not be ignored. Think Glenn Close in “Fatal Attraction.”
We’re told she demanded $600,000 or she would contact multiple media outlets to offer text messages Alex had sent her. One source with direct knowledge believes the woman’s motives are clear: once A-Rod hooked up with J-Lo … the ex saw dollar signs and felt he would pay any amount to keep her quiet.
The source believes she intended to release old texts with Alex from when they were dating, and make it seem like he was still contacting her while dating Jennifer.
We’re told A-Rod is standing firm … he will NOT pay her a dime. Instead, his legal team is preparing to go to the police and even federal authorities, if the woman continues threatening him.
I was talking to my GF about this, this morning. The advent of the smartphone and mobile phones, in general, have made it impossible to live a normal life. You can’t give someone the finger in traffic. You can’t get in a proper fight or make fun of anyone anymore because phones have been turned into weapons.
There is no greater example of weaponizing your phone than using it to extort or embarrass someone who sent you pictures of their dick or a dirty text. The second that relationship goes south, or you piss that person off, you’re fucked.
First, your mind goes into mental overdrive wondering what you sent. Then you go through all your texts, snaps, and messages forwarded to that person to try and mitigate the damage that person can do. After that, you look for ammo they might have given you so that you can threaten back if you need to.
I’ve always been of the opinion that the best defense is a pic of your own that she can’t explain to her parents. It’s worth getting that out of the way before you start dirty texting and sending pics of your stuff to someone else.
A-Rod’s case is different. He’s loaded and he’s a celebrity. If I were him, I’d fall back on the shitty douche rep I already have and tell her to release whatever the fuck she wants.

This Czech model threatened to release this picture of her and Jagr unless he gave her 2k. He told her that if she didn’t release it, he would. He then allegedly took a piss and left laughing. She did release it, and other than the scoring titles, point totals, and Stanley cups, this might be the most savage thing he’s ever done.
If A-Rod pulls a Jagr, he may be able to recoup some respect he’s lost along the way for being a douche.
