You can stop believing anything you read in The Toronto Sun, anytime, now.
It’s run by Rob Ford’s former comms person Adrianne Batra, who hired reporter Brian Lilley (who’s banging Doug Ford’s comms director Ivana Yelich) to report on Doug Ford.
Yesterday, Brian published a photo of liberal MP Will Amos naked on a parliamentary zoom call after a conservative MP took a screenshot of the mishap and sent it to Brian, who published it for his side-piece’s boss because that’s what Doug would have wanted.
We posted a story about it last night not knowing this wasn’t televised. An unnamed conservative MP took this pic after Will Amos returned from a jog. Thinking his camera was off, Liberal MP Will Amos was hanging into his work clothes when someone took a screengrab of him naked then distributed it without his permission, which is HIGHLY illegal.
Will Amos absolutely deserves blame for thinking it was a great idea to get naked at work in a government office in front of his computer, but the dissemination of the picture to a friendly reporter by a political rival is the real story here.
Brian isn’t a reporter and the Toronto Sun isn’t a news outlet. It’s an arm of the conservative party of Ontario and every reporter/employee at the Sun is encouraged to write according to their conservative bias.
Brian Lilley is the golden douche in charge of exploiting Ford’s comms director to run interference.
I feel bad for Will Amos, but he should have known better than to get nude at work in front of a computer in the zoom age, but this was a coordinated sewering of a man by a reporter whose opinion is about as worthless as his reputation.
Brian Lilley is a national joke. He tweets like he’s the man but he’s not. He’s a coward whose relationship looks like it’s about getting a leg up for a scoop or two.
The Sun isn’t a newspaper. It’s mostly a conservative platform rag littered with opinions from like-minded cockroaches like Brian Lilley disguised as journalists.
