I woke up at 4 am this morning to this video in my DMs from 20 people telling me it should be on DB.com.
‘The Twins’ are a couple of brothers from Gary, Indiana who started recording their reaction videos and music they weren’t familiar with from the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s without shitting on the music and It’s food for your soul.
My favorite new Youtube channel is these twins listening to 70's and 80's songs for the first time. Here they are, listening to a Phil Collins' drum solo.

The Twins have racked up over 21 million streams on YouTube and 185k followers on Twitter in less than a year because they’re authentic and that ALWAYS plays. As a big Phil Collins guy, I appreciate a different generation picking this up putting Phil’s brilliance on display for a generation deprived of hits like ‘In The Air Tonight’ or ‘Easy Lover’.
The entire reaction video is here with the added bonus of their mom yelling at them in the background. Remember kids, authentic plays.
“I ain’t never seen somebody drop a beat three minutes into a song.”

If you think they loved Phil Collins, they almost busted a nut over Dolly’s ‘Jolene’. they love the story and think it’s a ‘banger’.
They would be correct. Dolly is the fucking queen.
They really appreciated Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ and were pleasantly surprised she ‘looked like that’ because they thought ‘she was fat’.
Aerosmith’s ‘Dream On’ was the first rock song they reviewed and the first Rock song he’s ever heard. Not the best intro to rock but it’s better than Creed and it gives the young man goosebumps…
How much better would life be if we all were this open to new things? As a society, we’d rather shit on the unknown than be open to a new experience.
Try new foods.
Listen to different music.
Invent a new sexual position with a loved one or a sex worker (if that’s your thing).
Tired of rolling joints? Get a bong.
Always wanted to dress like the opposite sex? Do it and look fabulous.
Life sucks when your world is small so open it up by not being an asshole today. Trust me, you’ll be happy you did.
