He’s now the VP of Alberta for DeanBlundell.com and thank God he is because I doubt you’d be seeing this if he wasn’t.
He hit a moose 200kms away from home, backs into his garage, sunglasses still on. “It is what it is.”- Albertan Legend! pic.twitter.com/4VCdRhsplT

“It is what it is’. I love the guys who understate shit.
A 1000 pound beast that went THROUGH his window and his response? “It is what it is.”
Not only did this guy not suffer a scratch, but he also drove 244 km miles from Wandering River to Edmonton Alberta after the Moose demo’d his Mazda.
True to western Canadian form, he got the old fist bump in his garage full of Snap-On tools and accepted it for what it was because that’s what (vaccinated) Albertans do. They crack on because there’s a mini-fridge full of Pilsner and insurance companies to call before he gets up and heads to work at 6 am.
Western Canada is full of the kind of people you’d want to have your back in a bar fight. There’s a sensibility in Alberta, Sask, and BC that doesn’t exist in Ontario and Quebec.
If that guy wheeled into an intersection with that car downtown Toronto, he’d be treated like a pariah. In Edmonton, guys are clamoring around him in his detached garage treating him like a Stanley Cup champion…
Good news. The Moose ran off into the woods after the accident back with his Moose family…
