The United States Supreme Court overturned a woman’s federally protected right to obtain a safe abortion today.
We knew it was coming thanks to the SCOTUS leak a month ago. Knowing the opinion was coming didn’t make it any easier for American women who now CAN NOT obtain an abortion in at least 12 states for any reason whatsoever.
Overturning Roe V Wade is just one pillar traditional religious conservatives worldwide are fighting to destroy.
There’s a global war against liberal progressives/anyone who doesn’t advocate for neo-conservative traditionalism, and this thread details why Canadian women should be VERY fucking scared right now.
The same super PACs who patiently spent hundreds of millions stealing women’s reproductive rights are the same people putting on the Canada Day Convoy. They are filling Pierre Poilievre’s war chest with dolla-dolla bills while activating dumber conservative extremists to cannon fodder for their shit housing.
This isn’t JUST a US thing. Rolling back the cultural clock is a global effort, and in Canada, it hides behind the dead eyes of assholes like Pierre Pilievere.
One thing global conservatives do is work well together for the more significant bad. They organize behind Stephen Harper’s IDU, communicate through like-minded traditionalist/evangelical lawyers, and have each other on a global speed dial directory.
They fight multiple progressive policies on several fronts at the same time across the world. When their efforts fail, they pivot to one of those several fights. When they tear down 50-year-old laws, they scream “Praise God” and then shift to the next.
What’s next? According to Clarence Thomas, the only judge on the SCOTUS with an insurrectionist wife? Contraception and gay marriage.
The same conservative extremist traditionalist groups responsible for overturning Roe V Wade are the same powers/people who want this fucking weasel to be our next PM.

Why? Because he wants what they want, including control of a woman’s reproductive rights because the Bible says so.
Conservatives want to kill, and progressive perspective stands in contrast with God’s will as THEY interpret it, and that brainwashing starts in Sunday School.
Kids are taught anti-abortion apologetics in pre-school, and that anti-women’s rights stance is drilled into every church service and youth group gathering FOR YEARS. Christians create extremists around this issue from the age of 5.
Giving people options and the freedom to choose never hurt anyone. Removing the personal liberty of choice does. Removing choice is the expressed goal of conservative extremists because they know that no sane human being wants to be led by hateful assholes who wish to destroy a woman’s freedom to choose.
They are subservient to Christian men, after all.
Conservatives beleive this.
Evangelicals beleive this.
Pierre Poilievre believes this, and he is coming for Canadian women next.
