What’s the point? Seriously. I look at her frail (clearly blind) face, and I see a tired old person who hasn’t eaten solids or taken a normal piss for years. You might see loved ones and generations of love and family…

…I see a woman who wakes up every day praying the next thing that walks through her door is the grim reaper or a disgruntled employee who’s washed one too many bedpans.
I’m not even sorry. I’m an incredibly selfish and visual person, and if put myself in her shoes, I’d feel just fucking miserable about being trapped in that thing.
I’m not saying it’s not a terrific milestone, because it is. I just know me and if that’s me, someone, push me in the pool.
