Source – Prince’s former Toronto mansion is back on the market. The famed musician, who died in April 2016, lived in the home from 2001 until 2006 with his wife at the time, Manuela Testolini. Prince moved out of the house after he and Testolini divorced in 2006.
Forest Hill Real Estate Inc. has the property, 61 The Bridle Path, listed for $17,880,000. Two years ago, the home was listed for nearly $9.5 million, but it was taken off the market after Prince’s death. “We were going to put it back on but we figured we would wait until spring, because the grounds are absolutely gorgeous,” realtor Victor Brewda told CTVNews.ca. “In the wintertime it’s very difficult to view it.”
Meh. I like Prince, but if these real estate agents think that someone with $18 million to spend on a house will give a shit that Prince used to chew pills there in 2006, they’re crazy. I know the area that the house is in, and Drake is building a house next door, which explains why they jacked the price. I’m no real estate mogul but doubling the price seems like a shitty move.
