Saying it’s based on “real events” is a misnomer, but the Cocaine Bear was a real bear who dusted about 5 million worth of the white stuff. Thus, Cocaine Bear
As hinted by the title, Elizabeth Banks’s action-comedy tells the story of a black bear who eats several packages of cocaine, which had been accidentally airdropped into a Georgia forest in a botched smuggling operation. Fueled by a drug-induced rage and an apparent desire for more cocaine, the bear embarks on a killing spree, wreaking havoc on the local population. Meanwhile, those drug smugglers, led by the late Ray Liotta in his final role, search the wilderness for their missing stash, never suspecting they’re in danger of becoming bear food.
The problem? The real cocaine bear died after ingesting several million dollars worth of smuggled coke believed to be dropped from an airplane in Georgia in 1985.
No one was killed in Georgia in 1985. Unfortunately. If they were, this would challenge the Avatar sequel in terms of popularity.
Instead, Kerri Russel and Ray Liotta star in a movie about that same Cocaine Bear from Georgia. The movie version is a coked-out serial killer whose first victim is this man, comedian Scott Seiss.

I fucking LOVE everything Scott Seiss does. It’s between him and Nathan Fielder for Dean’s favorite new comedian title.
