Facebook, like any other compromised MSM outlet (Bell, Rogers, ETC) is that way because they hire political insiders to drive bullshit narratives.
Meet Rachel Curran. She’s Facebook Canada’s director of public policy and she appears to be a HUGE fan of noted political distaster Maxime Bernier.
What an interesting tweet for Facebook's Canadian manager of public policy to post. pic.twitter.com/j9UvH0vFJk

Rachel is a former Stephen Harper staffer and her Twitter feed parrots anti-climate change, anti-science shit from conservatives and PPC knobs. That’s why Facebook hired her. Not because she’s a digital policy-making genius. They hired Rachel Curran because she espouses the same principles Facebook does: Anything that’s in the best interest of Facebook.
Neo-con content was shared 200 times more than any other content ON FACEBOOK during the 2021 federal election for a reason. People like Rachel make sure of it because Rachel doesn’t give a single fuck about you or the greater good. Rachel apparently only cares about showing fealty to her neo-con masters and Facebook Canada pays her for it. That’s how these organizations and MSM outlets all operate. They get cozy with former political staffers getting access to policymakers, so who better to do that for Facebook than a red-hot former conservative staffer?
You gotta hand it to Facebook though. They probably found the most attractive neo-con to help them burrow into government decisions based on their agenda. Fear and lies, baby. Fear and lies.
And you wonder why Facebook sucks.
