Justin Benlolo is young and has all the talent needed to be a big star. I really believe if this band came around 25 years ago, they’d be in the folklore of 90’s grunge still celebrated ad nauseum on your favourite alt rock radio stations.
BRKN Love’s debut record came out on Valentine’s Day 2020. I saw them when they came through Ottawa with Royal Tusk, a killer Canadian combination of Rock n Roll. That episode was recorded just weeks ahead of the beginning of the pandemic. That episode also captured what the essence of DTTB was intended to be. Recorded in a green room with a live performance. I get goosebumps even thinking about that performance.
In this week’s episode, we catch up on the past shit show of a year and what’s coming next for the band. 2020 should have been a massive year for BRKN Love. I can’t wait to watch them evolve.
ALSO…. I think I forgot to share the video podcast with 102.1 The Edge LEGEND, Barry Taylor. I got BARRY high and totally forgot to share it, sorry
