Whistler is a pretty special town, what once was a small fishing resort has morphed into a World-renowned ski, snowboard and mountain bike resort. Whistler sees over 3 million visitors a year, that’s a lot of tourists in Whistler, most of which don’t believe people live or grow up here.
My parents were smart and have been coming up here since the late 70’s and was lucky enough to grow up in Whistler full time since the age of 12 years old.
I’m here to remind everyone that we have almost 12,000 residents, two elementary schools, one private school, and one high school and a pretty sweet community.
No all locals end up being Olympians or athletes. I’m excited to share this series with you chatting with a diverse group of Whistler Kids who grew up in our small Canadian Mountain town, from actors to Olympians, Business leaders to DJ’s a lot of talent has come out of our town Whistler.
