The PP1 Podcast has chatted with some pretty awesome guests but when former Canucks come on, the red carpet gets rolled out. Sadly, none of us have red carpet in our house so we just hopped online to chat.
Aaron Volpatti is now retired but he had some fun times in a Canucks uniform and was even a member of the Washington Capitals along with some guy named Ovechkin.
He gets into the physical side of the game, a one-punch that went his way and the “double homicides” he committed on the ice. Legal ones, we’re all good. He had a few great stories about New Years in Dallas, his first goal which probably shouldn’t have happened and how he conquered the Whistler Ironman to raise money and awareness for ALS.
All in all, he’s a cool dude.
