Just moments before the much awaited other Connor spectacle, it was the Leafs that shocked the hockey world by announcing a steal of a deal for Connor Brown.
The #Leafs announced tonight the signing of F Connor Brown to a 3-year extension with an average annual value of $2.1 million per season.

Many people around hockey figured that Brown would fetch closer to 3 million dollars per annum on a 3-4 year deal, were amazed that the AAV is only going to 2.1 per.
Connor seems happy with that new contract tho….

Connor Brown represents exactly the type of person the Leafs want in their organization. Having spent some time around Brown, he is an affable, outgoing and fun loving type of guy. Everything you see from him on tv or hear on the radio is exactly who this kid is.
