Blake Snell was pitching like an absolute STUD for five innings of Game 6 of the World Series: 5 IP 1 hit 0 walks 9 strikeouts with a GREAT pitch count. When he gave up a leadoff hit to the number 9 hitter that was all Rays manager Kevin Cash had to see to yank his ace.
Snell, as you can see in the video above, was furious. Snell was basically perfect and had struck out the 1-2-3 hitters of the Dodgers lineup a combined SIX times. I honestly thought Snell was going to punch Cash in the face when he started walking towards him.
In came Nick Anderson, a pitcher who has allowed at least one run in 6 straight postseason games. What could possibly go wrong?

Anddddddddddd just like that the Rays lead disappeared all because of Kevin Cash and his boner for dumb ass advanced analytics. If they lose this game I won’t be surprised if Snell demands a trade tomorrow.
The game isn’t over yet and anything can happen but if the Rays lose this, this may go down as one of the dumbest moves in MLB post season history.
The Rays lost. It is now officially the DUMBEST MOVE IN MLB POST SEASON HISTORY.
