This is ALL Mark Shapiro and OUR doing.
Mark continually ate shit from a confused Canadian gov’t as he traipsed around America with our MLB team.
Our part? Getting vaccinated.
88% of Ontarians have received one dose and 55% are fully vaccinated (that’s herd immunity territory) and the Canadian gov’t has designated the Rogers Center and outdoor venue for the Jays return so 15,000 of us will get our first look at this team in two years.
It’ll be our first look at Robbie Ray and Marcus Semien.
There will be a shit pile of space and legroom.
Booze will be triple the price it is at a bar but who gives a shit. The Blue Jays are coming back, Vlad Jr is the best player in baseball and they have an outside chance of securing a WC spot.
The only two players with 30 home runs this season:
Shohei Ohtani … and now Vladimir Guerrero Jr. 🚀

Regardless of the team’s playoff intentions, Watching Vlad Jr is worth the price of a ticket and a $40 gin and tonic.
He lead MLB in the following offensive categories.
WAR (position players) 4.5
BA – .335
On Base – .434
OBPS – 1.111 (that’s HUGE)
Total Bases – 216
RBI’s – 77 (on pace for 140)
Adjusted OPS – 198
Runs Created – 93
Adjusted batting runs – 45
Adjusted batting wins – 4.3
Times on base -164
Offensive win % .834
If Shohei Ohtani wasn’t him, Vlad would already be the unanimous favorite to be the AL MVP.
Making a point of seeing the best player in Blue Jays history should be a priority.
