Source: The 28-year-old center-fielder was placed on the 10-day IL Friday with a ruptured testicle after hitting himself with a foul ball in the third inning of Thursday’s 8-7 loss to the Astros. Haniger was removed for a pinch-hitter in the seventh inning.
“He took a pretty hard shot,” Mariners manager Scott Servais said after the game. “We’ll find out more once we get those tests back.”
AAAANNNNND, here’s the report.
The. Absolute. Worst. Pain. You could possibly imagine. A slight graze and I’m down for the count, sick to my stomach for at least an hour. These shots are the epitome of agony.
If you need to know what a ruptured testicle looks like, here you go you sick bastard.
This. This is what I’m saying and unless you see it, you can’t appreciate it.
T’s and P’s, Mitch. T’s and P’s
