Editors note. This is not my blog, DeanBlundell.com is currently growing at a rapid pace and frankly we are still working on getting all our beautiful contributors their credentials. However this does not stop us from reposting their articles on our medium (with their permission of course) for you enjoyment. For the record I fully support this take.
Marcus Morris is a Problem:
Last night the Clippers absolutely throttled the Dallas Mavericks 154-111. The 1-2 Punch of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George was at an all time high. They combined for 67 points on 24-37 shooting. Those Two were unbelievable last night.
Luka was held in check, and throughout the game you could see he was in pain. I have so much respect for this dude. He is just a straight baller. He is a competitor and just flat out wants to win ballgames. But, instead of talking about Leonard, George and Luka, I want to talk about Marcus Morris.
Plain and simple… He is a straight up Bitch. Sorry, but what he did last night was disgusting. But before this, I want to take you back to PRESEASON, when Marcus Morris was on the New York Knicks.
Remember when this dude just pummeled the basketball into Justin Anderson’s cranium during a pre-season basketball game because Anderson was playing tough defense against Morris? I mean the kid is trying to make an NBA roster and we got this clown saying that the New York Knicks ain’t taking no shit from no one this year. Ok Pal, calm down.
Let’s fast forward to last night. Clippers are up 20 and Morris decides to guard Luka full court. Here is the clip:
Sorry, but I am not buying that bullshit. You clearly knew his ankle was hurt and you went for it. I have absolutely 0 respect for you. If y’all were going at it and fighting for a rebound under the goal and you stepped on his ankle or landed on it, that is one thing. But to CLEARLY take a Misstep and basically lunge forward so that your foot hits his ankle is another thing.
Luka has been tearing y’all apart the entire series. I guess the only thing to do to stop him is try and hurt him even more. I am not shocked at his response either. A man would own up to it, he is just a coward.
I play this game with a level of respect for myself and other players. To think I would try to injure somebody is crazy to me. 10 years going against the best. I stand on morals and hard work. I compete and leave it out there every game.
