This is the stuff of miracles.
Six days after dying and bringing the sporting world together, Damar Hamlin saw his team run the opening kickoff back for the first scoring play of the game. And I cried—a lot.
Just going to leave this here ❤️ #DamarHamlin #3

I think Damar did too.

I’m speechless. Not wide right speechless, but it’s hard to find words to describe my feeling after everything that happened this week.
A 24-year-old football player died and was brought back to life on Monday Night football.
His life hung in the balance for 48 hours, intubated with cracked ribs from violent chest compressions.
Sic days later, his teammates score on the first play of the game while Damar and his family are watching the game from his hospital room as a living miracle.
As I write this, the Bills are up 14-7 against the Pats. They’ll win today and force a neutral site game against KC.
They’ll win the conference and then the Super Bowl. One of their players beat death, so this would be a great year to break the Buffalo curse.
I’m grateful we also learned about who and what Damar Hamlin is about for the past week. Listening to his teammates talk about how positive Damar is and the giving, kind, humble, unassuming young man he is, has enriched my life and the lives of MILLIONS who’ve been paying attention to his journey. Sincerely.
The way he’s processing this, from a hospital bed in Cincy for all of us to see, is truly incredible.
