Last Week 3-0, Overall: 5-3
Well, Thursday just absolutely sucked. I have now added the Jets to the Juice shit list. They now join Phillip Rivers and Kirk Cousins. How Adam Gase has a job in the NFL is baffling, but I am not here to talk about that. I am here to win money. There are 2 ways to go. We can bitch about the Jets sucking and how I was wrong on the pick (Got a ton of hate on twitter, meanwhile we went 6-0 last week.) or we can pick ourselves up and have a HELL of a weekend. I am choosing the latter in this situation. I will let Al Pacino take this one from here. LFG
Indinapolis Colts -3 @ Chicago Bears
BIG DICK NICK IS BACK
Mitch Trubisky was once again horrible and after another terrible interception, he was finally benched. Enter, Big Dick Nick. Foles led a great comeback against the Atlanta Falcons last week and has been named the starter for this weeks matchup against the Colts. Foles in his carrer against Indy averages 285 yards through the air and has a passer rating of 98.4. Nagy wanted him in the off season for this exact reason and he got him. Now, this is Nick Foles’ team.
The Indianapolis Colts have beaten 2 horrible teams in the Jets and Vikings. The Colts absolutely flopped last time on the road in week 1 against the Jaguars. Rivers so far has been fine. Nothing great, he has managed the game very well and is off to a 2-1 start with his new team. Jonathan Taylor, the rookie out of Wisconsin, has been good as well this year. After losing Mack for the year, Taylor had his first 100 yard rushing day against the Vikings. The Colts offensive line might be the best in the league. They have only allowed 2 sacks this year and they are fantastic in the run game too.
On the other side of the ball, the Colts statistically have the best defense in the league. Once again, they have not really gone up against stiff competition. In week 1, they got absolutely blitzed by Minshew Mania and gave up 27 points.
Bears have a good defense with big names all over the field and are at home. Chicago is also 2nd in the league at getting off of the field on 3rd down. I think they contain Jonathan Taylor and make Phillip Rivers beat them through the air. I believe in UNCLE MO and the Bears have that with a great comeback win against the Falcons last week. This will be a really close game either way, but I am going to side with the home team here and take the Bears +3.
Juice Pick: Bears +3
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cincinatti Bengals Ov/Un 49
Well these two teams are not going anywhere anytime soon, but that doesn’t mean you can’t bet on the game! Hear me out, these two offenses have some good talent around them. For the Bengals you got rookie gun slinger Joe Burrow, a great versatile running back in Joe Mixon and a great 1,2 punch at Wide Receiver in Green and Boyd. Those are 4 great playmakers.
For Jacksonville, Gardner Minshew has completed 73.8% of his passes this year for 787 yards and 6 touchdowns. It looks like Minshew’s top target, D.J. Chark, will be suiting up which is great for Minshew and the Jaguars offense.
Both teams are averaging over 6 penalties a game, so look for easy yards and first downs for both offenses due to penalties. Also, referees this year are throwing PI flags like it is going out of style. Both defenses just absolutely SUCK. Neither defensive line ever gets any push, so this means a ton of time for accurate quarterbacks. I absolutely love the over in this game and I think we will have an old fashion SHOOT OUT in Cincinnati.
Juice Pick: Ov 49
Back to the well Pick:
Buffalo Bills -3 @ Las Vegas Raiders
Last week, while writing this article, I absolutely loved the Bills -1.5 at home against the Rams. I watched the Bills race out to a 28-3 lead. I decided to go walk my dogs feeling fantastic about myself. I got back and somehow the Bills were down 32-28 to the Rams late in the Fourth Quarter. Josh Allen led the Bills all the way down the field on the final drive to the 15 yard line. ON 4th and 10, Josh Allen threw up a prayer and the ball fell haplessly to the ground. My heart sank… But then that beautiful yellow highlighter came on the bottom of the screen flashing FLAG. Somehow Pass Interference was called on the play. The next play was a Bills game winning touchdown. What an absolute roller coaster Josh Allen took me on. I felt like I was forever tied to Bills Mafia…. And I am again this week.
I watched the Rams just shove it down the Bills throat in that second half. Darrell Henderson looked like Herschel Walker, just GASHING the Bills defense. Darrell Henderson went absolutely off on the Bills going for 114 yards on the ground and as a team rushed for 167 yards. Goff also threw for 321 yards and 2 touchdowns. Goff got into a beautiful rhythm as well finding Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp with ease over the middle. But you know what I love about Josh Allen? There was ZERO panic. The dude just took his offense down the field and scored the game winning touchdown with 5 seconds left in a beautiful 2 minute drill.
At first, I looked at this line and instantly thought to take the Raiders. Looking more into it, I like the Bills. Josh Allen is absolutely on fire right now and the Bills are the more healthier team. The Raiders will be without Incognito, Edwards, Ruggs, Brown and possibly Linebacker Kwiatkoski. The Raiders front 7 might be the worst in the league and this is an EXPLOSIVE offense in Buffalo. I do think a lot of points are scored, but I am taking the better Quarterback, the better Coaching Staff and the healthier roster.
Juice Pick: Bills -3
Sprinkle- Tampa Bay at home -7, Brady against rookie quarterbacks in his last 8 games? 8-0. Bucs defense is fantastic. Their front 7 might be the best in the league and their secondary has played very well. Rookie QB? Bucs will FEAST
Lions/Saints Un 54: Saints are without 6 starters including Michael Thomas. Payton has gotten a ton of heat for abandoning the run. I see the Saints pounding the football and milking the clock as they also have a ton of starters on defense out as well.
