Not sure if I’ve seen one player get played by 3 teams at the same time. At least not an active player. But who gives a shit? Nick Foligno is a Maple Leaf and they have more cap space than they know what to do with if they unload Freddy and Alex Kerfoot for Malcolm Subban and Josh Manson.
TRADE: We’ve acquired forwards Nick Foligno and Stefan Noesen in a multi-team trade with Columbus and San Jose. #LeafsForever

Now the conversation turns to giving up a 1st and 4th round draft pick for a left-winger with 16 pts on the season with Leaf psychos on Twitter. The Leafs are loaded with offensive talent but they’re still soft and need a tough top-six forward they can use on the PP and PK.
You need to be a nuclear scientist to figure out who gets what, but the Leafs got a lot better today and Foligno is the guy you want on your side in a playoff series after watching last year’s Leafs/CBJ embarrassment.
His dad wasn’t a terrible Maple Leaf either.
Welcome to Toronto, Nick. You better win a cup and play well or Steve Simmons will make up a story about you hitting up street meat vendors before and after practice because you didn’t make his dreams come true.

PS: I have no Idea who Stefan Noesen is.
PPS: Dubas isn’t done. Expect them to add to their blue line in a big, bad way before the trade deadline closes this afternoon.
