Just so you know, before you read this, I’m right.
My favorite tweet today has nothing to do with Xrays of dildo’s or a Beer Store fight caught on video. It was my friend Chris Black who’s one of the smartest sports follows on Twitter.

If you listened to the podcast last Friday, Mitch Lawrence (Basketball God for the Sporting News and Forbes) said there’s almost no chance Kawhi resigns unless the Raptors show him they want to win and it’s his team. Well suck your thumb and call me daddy.

Anthony Davis told management he wants out of NOLA because they can’t stop sucking ass and the only team with the pieces to put this together and is already all the way in; Toronto.

Chris’s tweet can be read two ways.
1. We’re pot committed (to steal a poker phrase) and this is bar-none the best chance the Toronto Raptors might ever have to win a championship.
2. The return of Boogie means the Raptors have to be in after sacrificing Demar for a year of Kawhi and Masai knows this is going to define his decision to trade Demar. At the end of 2019, you’ll either have an NBA Championship or a team decimated by pulling up instead of hammering it home when the finally had the chance.
Mark my words, if the Raps don’t land AD, they’ll be right there. Just try not to think past June.
