With the Boston Red Sox leading 4-0 over the Cleveland Indians in the bottom of the 4th, slugger Mike Napoli attempts to get the Indians on the board. He rips a wicked liner off the bat to deep left field. Everyone in the ballpark was expecting a single. However, Boston Red Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi had different ideas. Benintendi tracks and makes the outstanding leaping catch at the wall ending the inning breaking the hearts of Indians fans everywhere. Napoli couldn’t believe his eyes spiking his helmet down in frustration.
If that wasn’t enough Benintendi also went 5 for 5 at the plate with 2 home runs. He isn’t even 23 years old yet.
Good luck the rest of the AL East, The Sox would go on to destroy the Indians 11-4.
