“Raptors officials have noticed a Clippers employee at roughly 75 per cent of the team’s games thus far this season. That has included president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank, which is rare. Presidents and general managers are almost never seen attending a game that doesn’t involve their teams.”
Source: Reports have it that Lawrence Frank is among Los Angeles Clippers employees present at an unusual frequency during Raptors games, possibly Kawhi Leonard-related. Leonard has long been linked to the Clippers, even until now that he was traded to the Toronto Raptors.
Brian Windhorst of ESPN wrote about how the Clippers are zeroing in on the 2019 free agency class that includes Leonard, arguably one of the best two-way players in the league right now.
Leonard is set to head a solid free agency class that also has the likes of Kevin Durant and Jimmy Butler. The Clippers already have two max slots that they can use for a major overhaul next year. Leonard has been bent on playing for his hometown of Los Angeles, and many people believe that the Clippers are the frontrunners to sign him in 2019.
Back off Clip.
The Toronto Raptors are the best team in Basketball and it appears the Clippers have been circling the team like a pack wolves.
Nobody knows what Kawhi’s going to do, as the outcome of this season is going to influence his decision.
So for one, don’t expect him to sign an extension before the conclusion of this season.
It’s really anybody’s guess at this point. If Kawhi walks, Kevin Durant could be a decent fallback.
What we do know, winning takes care of everything.
The Clip are cursed, no chance Kawhi goes there, attend all you want Frank:
